Fast, light, precise - three words that sum up the AMS 100 C:68 Race 29. With Sram's 1x12 GX components providing a huge gear range and flawless shifting accuracy, we added powerful Magura hydraulic disc brakes - with 180mm rotors - front and rear. Combined with a RockShox Recon Gold fork offering 120mm of travel, a RockShox Monarch RL fork at the rear, grippy Schwalbe tyres and a versatile CUBE dropper post, it's all you need to put you in full control of every trail.
Frame and equipment
We cut no corners in pursuit of our quest to build the lightest, stiffest and fastest full suspension frame possible. Our premium C:68 carbon - combined with our Advanced Twin Mold technology - gives the perfect blend of strength, stiffness and weight. The Boost 148 rear end and tapered head tube make the most of the frame's inherent efficiency. And details like internal cable routing and hidden bolts and pivots are the icing on a particularly elegant cake. It looks fast, because it is.
For whom is the Cube AMS 100 C:68 Race 29 suitable?
For the ambitious all mountain biker. Perfectly designed frames, well thought-out components and adjustable spring/damper settings ensure that the path of these bikes adapts to the bikes. The mountain calls and these bikes follow. The wide range of applications - from the Alpine tour to the Hometrail - leave nothing to be desired. The premium components also open up this bike category to riders who do not have their own workshop in the basement. Ascend, start riding, be surprised!
The advantages of 29 inch tires
29 inch is THE trend of the last few years, which was able to assert itself completely. Initially viewed critically by mountain bike purists and equipped with some teething troubles, the bike industry has recognized the trend and made it the new standard through continuous improvements. The advantage of the 29" tyres is the enormous running smoothness, which brings great advantages and saves power on long tours as well as uphill and downhill. Obstacles are easier to overcome due to the larger circumference of the wheels, and a greater distance is covered by turning the bottom bracket. By improvements and adjustments in the frame construction and the component selection, initial problems with the agility in the Trail and the optics of smaller frames were optimally balanced. Whether fully or hardtail, a 29 will take you far away.
