The Stereo 120 Pro 29 sets the standard for comfort, control and agility on the trail. A RockShox Judy Silver fork and Manitou Radium Expert shock take care of bump-smoothing duties, while Magura's light, powerful MT Thirty hydraulic disc brakes work with the tenacious grip of Schwalbe tyres to help keep your speed in check. We chose Sram's NX Eagle 1x12 transmission for its huge range and ease of use, putting the right gear for any trail just a click or two away. It's got the trail smarts to take you further. Are you up for it?
Frame and equipment
The best performance at the lowest possible weight - that's what the Stereo 120 is all about. Built around our Efficient Trail Control Kinematics and a 130mm fork, the frame's Agile Trail Geometry puts you firmly in control at all times. Sleek, hydroformed tubing is triple butted to save as much weight as possible without sacrificing strength, and features like the tapered head tube and Boost 148 rear axle ensure the best possible pedalling efficiency and steering precision. It's the complete trail-taming package.
For whom is the Cube Stereo 120 Pro 29 suitable?
For sporty off-road and touring use. Once Fully, always Fully. In the past, these bikes were much heavier and less manoeuvrable than their hardtail counterparts, but the development of the past few years has brought about a lot. The increased comfort and the significantly better traction are no longer paid for with higher weight. The new frame sets and high-quality components turn the former heavyweights into serious bikes - also for touring and racing use. The full suspension gives you outstanding comfort on the long tour, while you can count on the great traction on the trail. The Fully is the right choice for those who don't know exactly where to go before the tour.
The advantages of 29 inch tires
29 inch is THE trend of the last few years, which was able to assert itself completely. Initially viewed critically by mountain bike purists and equipped with some teething troubles, the bike industry has recognized the trend and made it the new standard through continuous improvements. The advantage of the 29" tyres is the enormous running smoothness, which brings great advantages and saves power on long tours as well as uphill and downhill. Obstacles are easier to overcome due to the larger circumference of the wheels, and a greater distance is covered by turning the bottom bracket. By improvements and adjustments in the frame construction and the component selection, initial problems with the agility in the Trail and the optics of smaller frames were optimally balanced. Whether fully or hardtail, a 29 will take you far away.
